I don't know how is this possible since being detailed and warm is oxymoron. It in fact sounded just a tad warm yet highly detailed. It is really detailed yet it doesn't sound bright. The iconic LS50 personified this approach taking its cues from the classic LS3/5A before quickly becoming a modern icon. Verdict KEF has taken an excellent speaker and made it even better with its innovative Metamaterial tech. The LS50 meta is as what the reviews said. ago As someone that finds the original LS50s harsh and too bright, I wonder if I would prefer the Metas based on what youve found. Since 1961, KEF‘s mission has been to preserve the integrity of original sound by providing a revealing listening experience that is as true to the original recording as is possible within the confines of a room. It is a remarkable little speaker that delivers some of the best performance I’ve seen for a speaker in this price range without DSP.
